Product Description

The Flakiness Sieve Set is used to determine the Flakiness Index of aggregates, an important parameter for evaluating the shape characteristics of coarse aggregates used in concrete, road construction, and other civil engineering applications.

Aggregate particles are classified as flaky when their thickness is less than 0.6 times their mean sieve size. During testing, the aggregate sample is separated into different size fractions and each fraction is examined individually using the corresponding flakiness gauge slots.

The sieve set is manufactured from heavy-gauge steel sheet for durability and long service life. All components are finished with a high-quality electrostatic powder coating to provide excellent corrosion resistance. The slot dimensions are precision-machined, ensuring an accuracy better than ±0.1 mm for reliable and repeatable test results.
