The Concrete Flow Table Test Set is designed to determine the flowability and consistency of high-workability concrete in accordance with EN 12350-5. The apparatus measures the Flow Index, calculated as the arithmetic mean of the spread diameter of the concrete specimen after controlled jolting on the flow table.

Working Principle

Fresh concrete is placed into the stainless steel flow cone positioned at the center of the flow table. After the cone is carefully lifted, the table is jolted according to the test standard. The concrete spreads uniformly across the table, and the Flow Index is calculated as the average of two perpendicular spread diameters. The test provides an accurate assessment of the workability, consistency, and flow characteristics of high-workability concrete.
