The Slump Test Apparatus is designed to determine the consistency and workability of freshly mixed concrete in accordance with IS 7320 and BS 1881-102 standards. It is suitable for testing concrete mixes containing aggregates with a maximum size of 38 mm.

Operating Manual
Fresh concrete is placed inside the slump cone in three equal layers, each compacted using the graduated tamping rod. After filling and leveling, the cone is lifted vertically, allowing the concrete to subside under its own weight. The vertical settlement, known as the slump, is measured in millimeters and indicates the workability and consistency of the concrete mix.
