Product Description

The Los Angeles Abrasion Testing Machine is designed to determine the resistance of aggregates to abrasion, impact, and wear. It is widely used for testing crushed rock, crushed slag, crushed and uncrushed gravel, and other aggregates used in road construction, concrete production, and civil engineering projects.

The test provides an indication of the toughness and durability of aggregates by measuring the percentage of wear resulting from the combined action of impact and abrasion inside a rotating steel drum containing a specified abrasive charge.
