Product Description

Specific Gravity and Water Absorption Apparatus is used for determining the specific gravity and water absorption of aggregates used in civil engineering, road construction, and material testing laboratories. The equipment is designed and manufactured as per IS 2386 (Part III) & BS 812 standards for accurate and reliable testing results.

The buoyancy balance system consists of a rigid support frame incorporating a water tank mounted on a platform. A mechanical lifting device is provided to raise the water tank through the frame height, enabling immersion of the specimen suspended below the balance.

The supplied electronic balance can also be used as a standard weighing device, making the system versatile and suitable for laboratory applications.
