VEE BEE CONSISTOMETER
Premium Concrete Workability Tester for Civil Engineering Laboratories
Premium Concrete Workability Tester for Civil Engineering Laboratories
Product Code : MSI 2001
Conforms to IS 1199 & BS EN 12350
The Vee Bee Consistometer is a precision laboratory instrument designed to determine the workability and consistency of fresh concrete, particularly for stiff concrete mixes where the slump test alone is insufficient. The instrument measures the Vee Bee Time, expressed in seconds, which indicates the time required for concrete to remold completely under vibration.
The equipment combines the Slump Test and the Vee Bee Test in a single apparatus, allowing engineers and laboratory technicians to accurately evaluate fresh concrete properties for quality control and research applications.

User Manual
Fresh concrete is first placed in the standard slump cone and compacted. After removing the cone, the slump is measured using the graduated rod. The transparent acrylic disc is then lowered onto the concrete surface, and the vibration table is switched on. The Vee Bee Time is recorded as the number of seconds required for the concrete to completely remold and make full contact with the underside of the acrylic disc.
