Product Overview

The Tensile Strength Tester (Electrically Operated) is designed for determining the tensile strength of cement briquettes in accordance with BS 12 specifications. The machine employs a highly accurate, friction-free double lever loading system that ensures precise and repeatable tensile strength measurements.

The load is applied through a calibrated sliding weight mounted on the top lever. Once the briquette specimen is secured in the jaws and the machine is switched on, the sliding weight automatically moves along the lever, gradually applying tensile force until specimen failure occurs. A sensitive micro-switch instantly stops the machine at the point of rupture, enabling accurate determination of tensile load.
