Product Description

The Skid Resistance and Friction Tester is a portable instrument designed for measuring the skid resistance and friction characteristics of road surfaces, pavements, aggregates, and polished stone specimens. The equipment is suitable for both laboratory and on-site testing and is extensively used in highway engineering, airport runways, pavement evaluation, and aggregate quality assessment.

The tester provides a reliable indication of the frictional properties of surfaces under wet conditions, helping engineers evaluate road safety and the polishing resistance of aggregates. It is also ideal for determining the Polished Stone Value (PSV) of aggregates using curved specimens produced by accelerated polishing tests.
