Product Overview

The MSI 1004 Vicat Needle Apparatus with Dashpot is a precision instrument designed for determining the normal consistency, initial setting time, and final setting time of cement and 'A' class limes. The apparatus conforms to various Indian, British, ASTM, and AASHTO standards, ensuring accurate and reliable test results for quality control laboratories.

The apparatus consists of a sturdy metallic frame with a freely movable rod, Vicat mould, glass base plate, consistency plunger, and initial and final setting needles. The built-in dashpot mechanism provides smooth and controlled lowering of the needles, enhancing testing accuracy and repeatability.
