Product Description:
The Deval Attrition Tester is a specialized laboratory instrument used to determine the rate of wear and friction degradation of coarse aggregates. Built in strict accordance with IS: 2386 (Part IV) standards, this apparatus features two hollow cast-iron or stainless steel cylinders mounted on a heavy-duty structural steel frame. The cylinders rotate at a constant speed driven by a high-torque electric motor with an integrated electronic digital revolution counter. It evaluates the relative toughness and abrasion resistance of road-building rocks and railway ballast materials under dry or wet friction cycles.
