The Aggregate Flakiness Gauge (Thickness Gauge) is designed to evaluate the flakiness index of coarse aggregates by identifying thin, flat particles that could weaken a structural mix. Built in strict accordance with IS: 2386 (Part I) and BS 812 testing frameworks, the gauge is stamped from a single piece of high-tensile, polished stainless steel to prevent bending under repetitive laboratory use. It features precision-machined slot tolerances that allow technicians to rapidly classify aggregate particle shape profiles for high-strength highway and runway concrete asphalt designs
