Product Description

The MSI 3056 Motorised Unconfined Compression Tester is designed for determining the unconfined compressive strength of cohesive soil specimens without lateral confinement. The apparatus is suitable for soil specimens with diameters ranging from 38 mm to 100 mm.

The motorised load frame applies axial load gradually at controlled rates of strain, while the applied load is measured using a sensitive proving ring mounted on the load frame. The robust screw-operated loading frame and geared motor drive provide smooth and consistent specimen loading for reliable laboratory testing.
