Product Description

MSI 3087 Integral Proving Rings are high-precision load measurement devices used with testing machines and loading equipment to measure compression and tension forces accurately. The proving rings are manufactured from special steel carefully selected for high strength and dimensional stability.

The ring faces are ground and polished and maintained plane parallel to within 0.2 mm total DTI run-out. Compression proving rings incorporate integral loading bosses, while tension compression rings are provided with integral loading bosses and male-threaded connections.

The proving rings are supplied with dial gauges and works calibration charts, providing convenient measurement and verification of applied loads. Individual proving rings are packed in polished wooden boxes for protection during storage and transportation.

Repeatability is as stipulated in IS 4169. NCCBM calibration can also be arranged for proving rings where required. Special proving rings can be manufactured to meet specific customer requirements.

Separate polished loading pads for compression proving rings and pairs of shackles for tension proving rings are available as optional accessories.
