🔬 Working Principle

One compartment of the U-Shape Box is filled with fresh self-compacting concrete while the sliding gate remains closed. After a short rest period, the gate is lifted quickly, allowing the concrete to flow under its own weight through the obstacle rebars into the second compartment.

The height of the concrete in both compartments is measured once the flow stops. The difference in height between the two sides provides an accurate measure of the concrete's filling and passing performance, with a smaller height difference indicating superior workability.
