Product Description

The MSI 3057 Triaxial Cell is designed for testing 38 mm diameter × 76 mm high soil specimens in accordance with IS 2720 (Part XII). It is suitable for triaxial soil testing where controlled cell pressure, pore-water pressure, drainage, and back-pressure conditions are required.

The cell features a transparent Perspex chamber with an anvil and loading plunger, providing clear visibility of the specimen during testing. The chamber can be conveniently opened by releasing the four tie-rod nuts.

The robust cell is designed to withstand fluid pressure up to 10 kg/cm². An oil plug, which also functions as an air vent, permits a thin layer of oil to be introduced above the water, providing effective sealing around the loading plunger during extended-duration tests.
