🔬 Working Principle
The 19 mm thick capping plate is placed onto the base, and its recess is cleaned. Molten sulfur compound or capping gypsum is poured cleanly into the plate recess using the industrial ladle. The concrete cylinder specimen is mounted horizontally against the vertical guide post and lowered smoothly onto the liquid compound pool. The upright post acts as a guide, keeping the cylinder perfectly vertical and perpendicular. The molten compound cools and hardens rapidly inside the recess, forming an ultra-flat cap on the specimen face.
