The MSI 3062 Lateral Pressure Assembly is designed for applying cell pressure up to 10 kg/cm² to soil specimens during triaxial testing. It is particularly suitable for routine tests of approximately 10–15 minutes, where minor variations in cell pressure can be tolerated.

The apparatus consists of a robust pressure chamber fitted with a flanged top cover, pressure gauge, air-pumping valve, and water inlet and drain arrangements. The supplied foot pump provides convenient manual pressurization and can develop pressure up to 10 kg/cm².
