The Los Angeles Abrasion Tester is a heavy-duty laboratory instrument used to determine the resistance of coarse aggregates to degradation, impact, and rubbing. It fully complies with international standards including ASTM C131, ASTM C535, and IS: 2386 (Part IV). Engineered with a balanced, heavy-duty steel drum rotating at 30-33 RPM, this machine evaluates the suitability of aggregates for highway paving and structural concrete work. Features include a heavy-duty structural frame, a digital revolution counter with an automatic shut-off mechanism, and a collection tray for quick sample recovery. Includes a complete set of calibrated abrasive charges (hardened steel balls).
