AUTOMATIC CBR TEST APPARATUS
Automatic 50 kN CBR Testing with Digital Control, Data Acquisition & Advanced Reporting.
Automatic 50 kN CBR Testing with Digital Control, Data Acquisition & Advanced Reporting.
The MSI 3067 Automatic CBR Test Apparatus is designed for the laboratory evaluation of the California Bearing Ratio (CBR) of highway sub-base and subgrade materials. It is also suitable for determining the strength of cohesive materials having a maximum particle size of less than 19 mm (3/4 inch).
The machine features a robust and compact two-column frame with an adjustable upper crossbeam and an electro-mechanical ram having a maximum capacity of 50 kN. An integrated digital data acquisition and processing system records the applied load and piston penetration during the test.
The penetration rate can be digitally selected between 0.5 and 5 mm/min, allowing the same machine to perform tests according to different international standards including BS, EN, ASTM and AASHTO requirements.
