Product Description:

The Flakiness Sieve Set consists of a series of specialized metal slot sieves used to evaluate the thickness configuration of road-building aggregate fractions. Fully compliant with IS: 2386 (Part I) specifications, each nesting frame is stamped with elongated rectangular slot openings rather than square grids. The slot widths are exactly calibrated to represent 0.6 times the mean size of the corresponding aggregate fraction. This array allows materials testing laboratories to isolate flat, low-strength particles that could cause premature crushing under heavy highway traffic wheel loads
